CHURCH CHURCH CHURCH! yayaayayaya :]

We woke up early this morning to go to church and I was soooo excited! We attended the Church of the Reconciliation. An American missionary met us at our apartment to take us to the church. She has been here over 10 years trying to get this church started with other people. The church looked just like it would in America but a little bit smaller. There were probably about 50 people there? Maybe less. The service was AMAZING. We sang about 8 worship songs (something I was not used to) and they were all in Italian. However, one of the songs they sang is an American song that they just translated in Italian (Blessed Be Your Name). When they played that the whole group got so excited because we actually knew a song! I cried during worship mostly because I was just so amazed and happy to see the love these people had for Jesus. I guess I always just kept my faith in the U.S. and it never really occurred to me that there are people around the world praising Him. It was such a beautiful thing to see how He had reached these people's hearts... in Italy! The sermon was on how God thinks we are precious and that if we really did believe that then we should be jumping up and down and happy all the time. Elisa went to the church service with us so that was really exciting.
After church we came back and ate some food and slept... for 3 hours! We didn't wake up again til 6PM. I wanted to go to another optional church service at 430 but obviously I was asleep so that didn't happen. Once we all woke up again we just hung out and then went for a walk around town. Whitney and I went out in our pajamas because we were that lazy.
To end the night we did some worship. It was awesome of course.
